“Innovation is now one of the main prerequisites for competition across all levels. At Tekfen Agri-Industry Group, we commit significant investments to R&D activities in fertilizer and agricultural production. We see the development of agriculture, which is the starting point of the food chain, as a multifaceted process and have adopted taking an active role in this process as a company policy since the day we were founded. Toros Tarım R&D Center is the first R&D center established in Turkey in the field of plant nutrition. Our objective here is to introduce technological innovations to Turkish agriculture, create new products to enhance farmers' productivity and contribute to sustainability through environmentally friendly solutions.
The development of new-generation fertilizers for effective plant nutrition, initiatives for a circular economy and waste reduction, the creation of products, technologies, and collaborations for the reclamation of infertile agricultural lands, the innovation of products and raw materials aimed at reducing foreign dependency, and projects for digital agricultural applications form the focal points that will shape the future of Toros Tarım and contribute to the advancement of our country's agriculture-based economy. Colleagues at our R&D center conduct publications and studies that contribute to scientific knowledge. Our collaborations at both national and international levels play a vital role in advancing the fertilizer industry in Turkey and worldwide.
Tekfen Tarım's Agripark R&D Center significantly contributes to Turkish agriculture, particularly in seed breeding. We are delighted that both of our centers, recognized and esteemed by the global scientific community and honored with awards, are among the top 500 R&D centers in Turkey. We will intensify our efforts and investments in this direction in the coming years.
