Energy-Efficient Industrial Plant Award

Toros Tarım Mersin Plant was granted the “Energy-Efficient Industrial Plant” award given by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, General Directorate of Renewable Energy.

This award is rewarded under Industrial Energy Efficiency Project Competition to the industrial organization with highest “rate of reduction in energy density”. Due to the evaluation of its output data in the energy saving portal, Toros Agri Mersin Plant was entitled to the Energy-Efficient Industrial Plant in the Chemical Substances, Products and Synthetic Fiber sector.

The award was presented by Berat Albayrak, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources to Osman Birgili, the CEO of Tekfen Holding at the 7th Energy Efficiency Forum held in İstanbul on January 14, 2016.
