Başak ABİDİN / General Counsel

Born in Ankara in 1983, Başak Abidin received her undergraduate degree from the Faculty of Law at Istanbul University and her graduate degree from the Department of Economics Law at Galatasaray University. Abidin completed her law internship at Nurol Holding International Law Department. After studying in England for a while, she worked at Öz&Öz Law Firm for the first four years of her legal career. Abidin continued her career at TTNET A.Ş. since 2011 and as a Senior Lawyer at Türk Telekomünikasyon A.Ş. between 2015 and 2019. Within Türk Telekom Group, she took part in the processes including establishment and structuring of domestic and foreign companies, mergers and acquisitions, start-up and strategic investment projects, compliance with capital market regulations, corporate legal processes of capital companies and partnerships, shareholder change, and bond issuance. Başak Abidin, who joined Toros Tarım in June 2019, currently serves as the General Counsel of the company.
