Toros Agri is crowning its achievements with Leadership School 

Toros Agri, one of the biggest industrial corporations of Turkey, has put into service “Toros Academy”, integrating under a single roof the training and development functions of all companies under its structure. Compatible with the Company’s corporate vision, befitting its targets for 2021, and aiming to support qualified workforce, Toros Academy is adopting the principle of achieving sustainable success and ensuring continuity of development. The Leadership School is the first product of the Academy.

Believing that training is one of the most important elements of change and human resources is the major factor creating difference in competition, Toros Agri has gathered its training and development programs that will create difference in the business processes and personal development of its employees under the roof of Toros Academy, with the goal of becoming a company open to change, working in harmony and adopting the shared culture of leadership that will carry the company and its employees to the future. Put into action with the purpose of supporting the managerial, personal and professional development of all employees of the company, the Academy aims to establish development as a corporate culture. To this effect, Toros Academy launched the Leadership School in August. 

With Toros Academy, Toros Agri will implement the projects that will support development of qualified workforce. Aiming at the leadership development of managers at each level, the Leadership School will support the development of senior-level managers through the “Leader Manager Coaching Program” implemented through cooperation with coaches specialized in their fields; and the development of junior- and middle-level managers through the “Basic Leadership Program” implemented through cooperation with Bilgi University. Getting prepared to implement leadership development programs based on new leadership competency model, Toros Agri is targeting to further improve its financial and operational success with the workforce open to change and learning under the guidance of the management team establishing a shared culture of leadership. 

Designed for junior- and middle-level managers, the Leadership School is comprised of a 9-day program, built upon each other with a sense of curriculum and specially designed for Toros Agri’s competencies. Toros Agri managers that will participate the trainings at Bilgi University Santral Campus will collect credits as they fulfil their responsibilities assigned to them, attend their trainings and present their value-added projects and those meeting the requirement for graduation will throw their graduation caps in May 2018. The senior-level managers will further strengthen their leadership competencies by receiving 6-8 coaching sessions under the scope of the Leadership School. 12 senior-level and 120 junior- and middle-level managers will attend the Leadership School. Thanks this program, Toros Agri is aiming to achieve the company’s targets for 2021 with the shared culture of leadership to be established by the management team.
